Perch Derby April 2012

The club camped at Sycamore Canyon in Point Mugu State Park for the annual Perch Derby. We had a lot of fun, and a lot of members participate, filling 3 campsites with 7 vehicles plus tents. Thanks to Dutch & Sunshine Kid for taking photos. Michael caught the biggest non-perch, and SpeakEasy caught the perch to win the derby. Thanks also to our camping neighbor Chef Mark who generously shared gallons of his fabulous Argentinean style Cioppino with us. Yow! That was tasty! We saw whales, sea lions, and other wildlife.  Check out the photo slideshow here.
