Register-Ed is the Official Online Hunter and Boater Education Course Registration platform of many states. Choose your state, find an event, and signup online.

*NOTE: All students are required to obtain a California Get Outdoors ID (GO ID) prior to registering for California Hunter Education courses. If you are a previous CDFW license holder (i.e. Fishing), your GO ID is printed on the license above your name.
Either a 4 hour class and a 10 hour hunter safety class may be offered.
- The 10 hour class does not have prerequisites & will better prepare you to pass the test. Recommended. This is what we generally offer at the RRGC clubhouse.
- The 4 hour class has prerequisites and is done in combination with an online class. A copy of the workbook for the online class is mailed to you via priority mail once you register to fulfill the home study portion of the course. Hence, the cutoff date for registration that allows ample time for the workbook to arrive.
Generally the classes run from 8am – 6pm. Sign-in begins at 7:15 AM
These classes fill up and class size is regulated by law. It is best to reserve your class at least 3-5 weeks in advance.
